We started Magic City Blooms because sending flowers across town shouldn’t mean a national website, a mystery florist and a bouquet that looks nothing like the picture.
Arranged by people you could meet
Our designers work from one studio on the Southside and partner with a small group of independent Birmingham florists for busy holidays. Every arrangement is built by hand on the day it’s delivered, photographed, and sent out with one of our own drivers.
Grown as close to home as we can
From spring through fall we buy from Alabama growers whenever the stems are good enough: zinnias, sunflowers, lisianthus, magnolia foliage and more. In winter we work with farms we trust in Ecuador, Colombia and California, and we’ll always tell you where a stem came from if you ask.
We know the city
Which hospital units accept flowers. Which funeral homes need deliveries before 10. Which Mountain Brook streets have no house numbers on the curb. That local knowledge is the reason we exist.
